Key early childhood education requirements and information

We are open all year round, Monday – Friday 7.15am – 5.30pm, including school holidays and the Christmas/New Year period for your convenience. We’re closed statutory days only.
Our centres cater for infants from birth up to school age. The nursery caters for birth to 2 years old and the preschool from 2-5 years old.
On top of the exceptional personalised care and early learning provided at Greendale Kids, our fees
include meals, nappy changing supplies, sunscreen, hats and Storypark.
Yes. The Government funds the cost of children aged 3-5 years to attend early childhood education (ECE) for up to 20 hours a week. This funding is called 20 Hours ECE and is available for up to six hours a day for children in approved programmes, like our centre. Find out more about 20 Hours ECE.
Yes. Every child aged 0-3 whose household income is less than a certain threshold is entitled to a 9-hour subsidy from WINZ. If all the adults in the house are working or studying, and not earning more than these thresholds, you may be entitled to more subsidised hours. Find out more about WINZ assistance.
Our centre provides all food, nappies, wipes, sunscreen and bedding if your child requires a sleep. We ask that parents provide bottles and suitable named clothing for the season, including two changes of clothes.
We encourage 3 settling visits, approximately 2 weeks before your child’s start date to ensure a smooth and settled transition for both you and your child. We are always happy to work with you on an approach that will work best for you and your child, with your child’s well–being being the most important part to this new journey.
Yes, our sister centre Greendale Kids Preschool is located at 82 Guppy Road in Greenmeadows and is within walking distance of the nursery. Children are thoughtfully transitioned between the two centres.
